"Being a player for the Mount Vernon football program has meant more than just being a part of a team; it has meant knowing your on a team who has your back through your highs and lows. It has meant making memories and bonds with each other through the blood, sweat, and tears we have shared. But most importantly, it has meant being apart of a family, and playing side by side as brothers," Blaine Schumacher.

"Blaine has a lot of talent running the football and has really helped this team as a back-up tailback and a great scout team running back.  He made our defense better by his work ethic in practice.  I look forward to watching Blaine and his successes in High School and afterwards as well," Head Coach Pedersen.
