"Being a Mount Vernon football player means you are part of the teams family. You are going to be accepted by your teammates and coaches. It also means that every day you show up you are going give everything you have and never give in. No matter whether you are a starter or non-starter you are going to accountable when you get into the game," Jayden Weber.

"What a great year Jayden is having for us.  He has really taken on the role as a special teams player.  Teams have to account for where he is at on the kick-off and punt block teams.  He is a great young man, very coachable and works extremely hard in practice," Head Coach Lance Pedersen.
