The Mustangcast Prepares for First Football Season

This season we will be broadcasting all regular-season and post-season (except games at the UNI-Dome) Mount Vernon football games via the Mustangcast, an online service that provides live play-by-play of Mount Vernon sporting events!  The Mustangcast debuted with coverage of baseball and softball this summer and was a huge success!

We are very excited to bring this coverage to not only the Mount Vernon community, but to friends, relatives and supporters of Mt. Vernon high school athletics all over the world!  Because the broadcasts will be live online, you can access the coverage anywhere in the world as long as you have a computer, smart phone, or other device with internet access.  It’s great for out-of-town friends and relatives, or if you just can't make it out to the game.  

To check out the Mustangcast, just go to www.themustangcast.com and click “Listen Live!” to tune in.  In addition to football, we will be bringing you select volleyball match-ups as well!  The complete schedule for both sports can be found on the website.

Sean Moore and John Cochrane will be bringing you the call from the gridiron.  Emma Cochrane will handle the volleyball action!

We also plan on bringing you girls and boys basketball, as well as wrestling this winter!
