This year we will begin a new tradition for the football program.  On the Thursday before the last home game we will have a gathering of varsity football players.  This gathering will include food, drinks and a bonfire.  The event is to bring together the team before the last regular season game and discuss what the season meant to them, what football meant to them and what being a Mount Vernon Football Family Member has meant to them.  Each member of the football family will speak and add something special to the fire.  The meeting is for football players only.  

     This year the meeting will take place at the Louwagie residence and will begin at 7:00 pm on October 20.
