Mount Vernon’s Freshman team will play next week at Center Point Urbana at 5 pm with the varsity team following at 7 pm.

â€šÃ„úWe had a slow start to the football game.  I was proud of how the team came together and got things rolling as a group.  Our conditioning really paid off.  We had great tempo and were efficient with our scoring drives,” Coach Pedersen said.

â€šÃ„úGoing to Center Point will be a great challenge for us.  They are well coached and have a good football team.  It is important that we go play our best football for this non-district game.”  Coach Pedersen added about this week’s opponent.
