JV Squad Records Another Shutout

The Mustang JV team blanked it’s counterpart from Camanche last Monday 38-0 in a game rescheduled from the 

previous Friday due to a soggy field. Scoring for the Mustangs were Joe Hunter, Coy Martin, Mason Stanbro, Cale 

Snedden, and Tanner Koske (2 TD’s). Carlos Castro hit on a couple of PAT’s to round out the scoring. Paul Ryan and 

Andrew Louwagie had a couple of long returns on special teams to set up two of those scores. Snedden had a couple of 

nice receptions from quarterback Joe Hunter to go along with Hunter’s scoring toss to Tanner Koske. Running backs 

Andrew Louwagie, Martin, Stanbro, and Ryan all ran hard, finding openings up front created by John Butz, Matt Vislisel, 

Preston Shultz, Noah  Guillaume, Tucker Dickson, Cody Connolly, and Mitchell Louwagie. The defense was led by many 

of the same players. Next up for the young Mustangs is Monticello Friday, September 25.
